Wedding Videography is the heart of Eyeswide Imaging

Capturing your love story is about more than just filming your wedding day. It’s about how you met, your favourite bands, the drunken nights you spent partying together in the beginning. It’s more than the flowers, the dress or the ring…

It’s the friends and family, and friends that become family, that come together to help you write your story as a couple.

A wedding film by Eyeswide Imaging is more than just a record of your wedding day, it’s a time capsule of your relationship and a reminder of all the reasons why you both fell in love with each other, and why you choose each other every single day.

Matt & Phi

These two legends threw a festival of love at one of my absolute top wedding locations in Agnes Water, the 1770 Eco Camp.

No detail was left to chance, from the custom hashtag #phealeslikeagoodtime to the pineapple table decorations (still not quite sure what that was about).

These guys had friends and family attend from literally all over the world, and the party did not disappoint.

Kate and Nathan

Sparks flew at schoolies week a few years back when this gorgeous pair, both from Yeppoon, met up in Agnes Water at their end of school celebrations. Pretty soon they were inseparable, and decided to seal the deal in the very place they started falling in love.

Workmans beach day area was transformed by Coastal Rush picnics and Events for the ceremony, as was the cute air bnb, with different areas for lounging, eating and dancing.

We were blessed with gorgeous weather and an absolutely stunning sunset on this day, amid months of rain.

Hi Mia,

Thank you so much! These photos are so beautiful and I can’t wait to go through them all with Nathan.

I am looking forward to the album and usb!

Thank you again’

Maely and Mathew

Maely and Mathews’ love story spans continents and timezones.

From a chance meeting in a cafe in Brazil, to leading a new, united life together in Australia. Traversing the challenges of covid and borders, their partnership and love grew from strength to strength. Now married, it seems like nothing will stop them from fulfilling all their dreams together.

Deb and Michael

Everything happens for a reason… This is a belief that Deb and Michael live by and brought

them together. Through a series of seamlessly random life events and choices these two souls

were always destined to find each other.

After first meeting 10 years ago, a friendship instantly developed. From the moment their

paths crossed they were continually surprised, captivated, and challenged by each other. After

countless hours spent talking, listening, and really understanding each other their friendship

grew stronger and an unbreakable bond was created. They realised life had a newfound

happiness with each other in it, a feeling they now know as true love.

Together, with their 5 beautiful children (Indie, Hudson, Thomas, Connor, and Noah), they

have already created so many wonderful memories. Loving each other and building a family

together has opened their eyes to the true beauty this world has to offer.

We strongly believe that in life you will always end up exactly where you need to be and

right now, we can say without a shadow of a doubt we are exactly where we are supposed to

be. So, here’s to the nights that turned into mornings and friendship that turned into love. And

always remember everything happens for a reason.

Fleur and Jason

Thank you! These photos are absolutely stunning! We love them :)’

Fleur and Jason travelled to their home away from home, Agnes Water, to celebrate their love in an intimate, family centred ceremony.

The gorgeous ceremony and reception were styled by the team from Coastal Rush, pop up picnics, and Floral Design by Lily.

Jody & Alex

“Hi Mia,

Alex and I just finished going through the USB. We’re both speechless. Wow.

Stunning photos! Incredible. No idea how you managed to be everywhere at once. We’re so incredibly grateful! Couldn’t have wished for anything better.

Thank you so much. You captured everything perfectly. We truely appreciate all the time and effort you put into this. Alex wanted to add: “phenomenal job”.”

Amber and Aaron

“Mia, the package arrived today and I am beyond blown away with it all. It’s so special to have these memories captured in such a wonderful, professional way. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, thank you”

Lea and Jase

The morning after a rare night out, with a friends birthday party coming up that day, I received a message asking if I was free to photograph a wedding that afternoon.

Flexibility and adaptability are two qualities I like to think I possess, so of course I said why not!

And what a great decision that was!

After losing their photographer to the dreaded C word at the literal last minute, Lea and Jase were taking things in their stride and had resigned themselves that their wedding might be photographed entirely on iphone.

Their amazing Maid of Honour Kasey leapt into action and managed to find me through the awesome network of local vendors they were working with.

Needless to say they were so grateful I was available, I actually felt like a bit of a celebrity with all the love I was receiving from their family and friends

Despite the last minute stressors these two were one of the most chill couples I have ever worked with, and I felt like we were friends from way back.

I definitely think we were meant to cross paths, and I am so grateful I got to be a part of their big day

Lanie and Kev

Lanie and Kev made it official in a sublimely stylish ceremony in Agnes Water. After a few false starts thanks to Covid, this beautiful couple managed to pull off a dream wedding in this stunning location with their loved ones surrounding them. Their love and shared history was evident in a ceremony and reception that was full of real moments and emotions and lots of laughs.

Abby and Greg

Married at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Townsville, Abby and Greg had an unmatched joy and enthusiasm while also being incredibly calm and relaxed. This may seem like a bit of a contradiction, but could be explained by the months of planning which was then squished into multiple, meticulously detailed spreadsheets that Abby had prepared in order for their big day to run as smoothly as possible.

It obviously payed off, because the day went off without a hitch and Abby and Greg celebrated their love in a gorgeous family centred ceremony and reception, and last I saw them they were doing vodka shots at the bar, so I’d say it was a pretty good night!

Ayla and Peter

A modern romance that began only 2 short years ago.

Featuring Abba, Tinder and a cast of lovable characters, the story of this pair who managed to pull off their dream wedding day despite covid restrictions and extreme hangovers, is full of joy, tears and terrible jokes about accountants.

Grace and James

Grace and James met at the Commy, in a love story entrenched in the hearts of all their friends and family, these two hit it off from the very beginning. Even an overseas holiday early in the relationship didn't stop James from embedding himself into Grace's life, and apartment according to flatmate, so that she wouldn't forget him while she was away. Six years later, now more of a crew than a twosome, with their beautiful little girls Billy and Lola and big brother Wilbur in tow, these guys tied the knot in one of their favourite places surrounded by all their favourite people (including an epic 10 person bridal party). Enjoy the beautiful weekend wedding celebration of Grace and James at Waves campground, Crescent Head.

Two in the sun

Alex and Justine celebrated their love in style a stones throw from where they first met. Their wedding day was a perfect mixture of boho, relaxed, home made, quirky romance which is a pretty good reflection of this gorgeous couple. Loved ones from literally every corner of the world gathered to celebrate their love, and the good times carried on well into the early hours of the next morning, culminating in a good old fashioned house party at the couples Brunswick heads home.

‘Mia Created our wedding video and it’s an incredible work of art. The way she captured the emotions and overall feel of our wedding day is incredible. She has a real talent of being present and capturing all the special moments, as well as all the little in-between moments, without being intrusive at all. The way she used the short video to tell the story of our love was so beautiful and unique, really capturing the essence of who we are and our love. We cherish this video so much, we can’t even count how many times we’ve watched it! And it’s something we’ll keep forever and share with our children one day. Thank you Mia for creating such beautiful work, for being calm, professional and easy to work with. We highly recommend you to anyone!’ -Alex & Justine

Sarah-Jane and Mitchell

A fun filled family wedding in the gorgeous pavilion at the Mercure, Townsville. Sarah-Jane and Mitch started with a heartfelt ceremony that united their little family, and ended with a cracking party. Even Bub was dancing all night!
